Back in my 20s and 30s it was simple.

I used to

Have energy that lasted all day

Easily get away with eating anything I wanted like burgers, fries, pizza and ice cream

 

Never gain an ounce no matter what I ate


Maintain a trim figure with little to no exercise

 

Feel confident in anything I put on...even my swimsuit!

 

After 40 EVERYTHING Went Downhill. Fast.

In what felt like overnight, my once thin and fit figure started to get bigger. I suddenly couldn't get away with eating whatever I wanted, unless I wanted to carry that around on my body forever!

I used to easily burn everything off without a second thought, but now my body could no longer keep up and felt heavy all the time.

My metabolism wasn't working like it used to and I could feel my health declining.

I no longer had any energy and could barely make it to 8p without passing out on the couch. That's not who I am!

So, I would go to bed earlier at night, thinking that I'd get more restful uninterrupted sleep and it would give me better energy the next day.

But it didn't work. Some nights I'd even sleep 10 HOURS, and still be sluggish and exhausted the next day!

I knew this was not normal but even then I didn't realize just how much my health had declined and how serious it all was.

One day I bumped into a friend I hadn't seen in a while. But she barely recognized me. And then before she could stop herself, she said something that hurt deeply. "Wow Judy, I didn't recognize you. What happened, are you ok?"

Wow, that was a real eye-opener. I knew my clothes had increased in sizes and I didn't feel good in the same things, but I didn't realize it showed that much!

I've never owned a scale. I've never needed it as I always stayed in shape. However I knew it was time to find out where I was at. They say you can't manage what you don't measure. So I went out and bought a scale for the first time ever.

I got it home, put the battery in (since it was one of those fancy digital ones), And stepped on.

I couldn't believe my eyes! 189!

Wow, that moment hit me like a hammer.

I went over to the bathroom mirror, and forced myself to take a good long look.

And I mean REALLY look.

It was then that I realized that something had to change. I was tired, puffy, and bulging all over the place. I was a mess.

I couldn't shake the thought of that image the rest of the day. I started thinking about how it was not only affecting me, but also my husband and daughter. You see, all this time I had only been thinking about ME. But what about my them? If I didn't change, was I even going to be here for them?

That evening as I was getting ready for bed, I made a decision.

The Time Had Come To Get The "REAL ME" Back!

I tried everything I could think of.

I started walking, doing yoga, lunges, squats, but none of that worked. And it was so time consuming with no real reward.

I changed my eating. Over and over again, with everything you could think of.

I tried juice fasts, detoxes, elimination plans.

Believe it or not I went vegan for a while. And then totally switched over to a high protein meat-only plan. Of course I had also tried Keto, Paleo, and every other fad.

NOTHING WAS WORKING!

I looked into home remedies I would read about on the internet.

Weird concoctions I'd make in the kitchen.

Cranberry juice, lime juice, cider vinegar, lemons. And even one that used SODA!

Have you heard the one about sleeping with an onion next to your bed to increase your energy levels? Yep - tried that too!

Eventually after speaking with my friend about my frustrations, I decided that I needed to go to the doctor, and see what he had to say. Maybe there was more wrong with me than I realized.

My Doctor's Visit Did Not Go As Expected ...

I was fully expecting my Doctor to make it about my choices and blame me. To tell me that I was weak, and I just needed to eat right, and exercise more.

That's what all the doctors usually say.

But wow, was I wrong.

He explained that he now had a completely different understanding of WHY women my age struggle to keep extra weight off.

"You need to target the root cause" he said.

"It's a bit unconventional" he said. "But it really does have some great science backing it up, and I'm seeing results in my women patients that I have told this to".

I was not ready for what came next...

He began to tell me about this coffee ritual that had recently been re-discovered. And that there were three really amazing benefits to it.

There was no need to change eating habits

There was no need for intense exercise

 

It only takes a few seconds a day

There were no painful injections

Well... I could not wait to get home. Instead, when I got to my car, I grabbed my phone and started watching the video immediately.

I sat there, glued to my screen. I was blown away by everything I learned in the video.

Could something this simple really be the answer? Really?

I Am So Grateful My Doctor Showed Me This

I've been using this Coffee Ritual for a while now, and I am beyond excited.

I regularly find myself fitting into clothes I've not worn for years. I don't dread putting things on anymore.

And of course ... I also get to go shopping for a new wardrobe. Now, that's FUN!

But wearing new clothes and looking amazing is not even the best thing.

What's most important to me is that I've got my energy back. I sleep well, and wake up refreshed. I've got all the energy I need to get me through the day.

I even started to enjoy the exercise I was trying before. I had so much energy to burn I had to do SOMETHING with it and now it was FUN!

On top of that...

I feel younger. Dropping the excess weight and feeling full of energy has given me a new lease on life. I feel like I am 30 again.

 

I don't crave snacks any more. I can eat meals and feel satisfied. I'm not constantly back and forth to the kitchen looking for the next thing to graze on.

 

In saying that, I do enjoy my favorite foods still. I'm definitely not eating like a bird or just eating salads!

 

My blood sugar levels are more stable, and I have consistent energy through the day. No extremes of high's and low's.

Imagine If I'd Been Too Skeptical To Try This!

When I first learned of this coffee ritual, I easily could have been skeptical.

I am so glad now that I wasn't.

I absolutely love who I am now. I feel like the "REAL ME" is back. She was gone for such a long time.

I have confidence that my health is now moving in the right direction, and that I will be around for my husband and daughter. And one day... I'll be able to run around after my grandchildren!
